The Rippey Alumni Meeting will be held at the United Methodist Church in Rippey on Saturday, May 27.
The meal will be served at 12 noon by the Rippey Methodist Church kitchen crew. The meal is always delicious and will cost $12. Please pay at the door rather than sending money in advance. Reservations are necessary and should be made as early as possible.
Mary Ann (Young} Miller graciously volunteered (again) to take the reservations by phone 515-465-2449. There is an answering machine in case she is not home. Her email is ptmilleria@q.com.
Lions Club meeting – Rippey Lions Club will meet Thursday, May 18, with a meal served to those present at 6 pm. Business will include further RAGBRAI planning. The program will be a representative from Camp Hertko Hollow near Boone. This is a camp sponsored by Iowa Lions Clubs for young people with diabetes. Myron and Maralynn Rinker’s daughter Marilee attended the camp for many years and also volunteered as a counselor.
